This is a key Health and Safety course that explains what Risk Assessments are and the process to perform them. It is ideal for anyone with health and safety, HR, and/or line management responsibilities.
Employers have a legal duty to assess the risks to the health and safety of their employees or to any other persons not in their employment who may be affected by the workplace or workplace activities.
The law states that a risk assessment must be ‘suitable and sufficient’, i.e. it should show that:
Risk Assessments are integral to almost all H&S in the workplace, and knowing how to undertake a risk assessment is key to ensuring risks are eliminated or controlled.
