In any enterprise it’s critical to know how to manage money. Whether you’re planning projects, managing day-to-day finances or applying for funding, budgeting is the at the heart of every financial plan. A well-prepared budget helps you make informed decisions, demonstrate financial competence to your board, and inspire confidence among funders and stakeholders.

In this practical workshop you will learn the key principles of effective budgeting, how to create a realistic income and expenditure budget and manage common budgeting challenges. There will also be plenty of opportunities to ask questions relevant to your own organisation.

By the end of the session, you’ll have practical skills and greater confidence to develop and manage budgets that support your organisation’s sustainability and success.
