Project Manager, Welfare Rights

The Scottish Ethnic Minority Deaf Centre (SEMDC) is looking to recruit a part time Project Manager for Welfare Rights support. This is a fixed term post for 3 years.
Main purpose of the Job
To provide team support, in the provision of welfare rights and advice, and the current benefit system, whilst working in partnership with the Operations Manager and BSL Interpreter to ensure effective delivery of the service in accordance with Funder’s requirements.
Duties and responsibilities include: supporting and supervising Welfare Rights Assistants, and providing welfare rights advice; linking in with relevant services across Glasgow; record maintenance, information retrieval, monitoring/reporting. Applicants are also expected to be fully competent in using Microsoft Office 365 and custom database packages. They will have an ability to work under pressure, on your own initiative, but also to be part of a team.
