From project costs to overheads: this practical workshop will ensure you cover the true cost of your activities.

In the current financial climate remaining sustainable is a challenge for many third sector organisations so making sure that every penny spent is included in your costings really matters. Understanding how much it costs to run each service you deliver enables you to make informed financial decisions, pitch your prices properly and ensure that every cost is covered.

In this practical workshop you’ll learn how to accurately cost your services or products on a Full Cost Recovery basis. We will cover identifying the direct costs for delivering services and how to allocate overheads such rent, electricity and admin costs to these services. This will include working through the costing process for a fictional multi service community organisation.

• you are a founder, leader or board member of a community organisation
• you work in a community organisation and want to understand the cost of running services  
• you are a service manager who now has to tender for or enter into a Service Level Agreement to deliver the service
