Vacancy: Business Adviser – Entrepreneurs Pathways Lab
Part-time | Fixed-term (October 2025 – March 2026) | £16/hour | Glasgow (hybrid delivery)
Together Reaching Higher (TRH) is recruiting two Business Advisers for the Entrepreneurs Pathways Lab a pioneering initiative funded through the Ecosystem Pathways Fund. This community-led incubator is Scotland’s first dedicated to supporting ethnic minority and migrant backgrounds to launch and grow sustainable business idea including online businesses.
This role offers a unique opportunity to deliver culturally responsive enterprise support to New Scots, refugees, and marginalised entrepreneurs at the earliest stages of their journey.
As a Business Adviser, you will:
- Provide 1:1 and group support on business registration, compliance, e-commerce (e.g. Shopify, Etsy, Instagram), and sustainability.
- Co-deliver the Enterprise Bootcamp and support participants through the GrowLab Incubator phase.
- Guide entrepreneurs through crowdfunding, grant applications, customer validation, and scaling.
- Engage with local enterprise partners to strengthen the local support ecosystem.
- Track progress using Individual Growth Plans (IGPs) and contribute to monitoring and reporting.
Person Specification
We’re looking for someone who:
- Has proven experience in business advising, SME support, or enterprise training.
- Understands UK business compliance and online business models.
- Is skilled in supporting digital commerce and social selling platforms.
- Possesses strong intercultural communication and mentoring abilities.
- Is passionate about inclusion, equity, and economic empowerment for underrepresented communities.
