The Scottish Government have announced a new Communities Mental Health and Wellbeing Fund which aims to support adult community-based initiatives across Scotland. The fund is worth £15 million for the whole of Scotland, and Glasgow is expected to receive a proportionate amount of this for local organisations.

You can read the Scottish Government’s announcement of the new fund here: £15 million to help improve mental wellbeing (Scottish Government, 15/10/21)

The funds will be distributed through the national network of Third Sector Interfaces.  In Glasgow City the Third Sector Interface is a partnership of Glasgow Council for the Voluntary Sector (GCVS), Volunteer Glasgow and Glasgow Social Enterprise Network (GSEN).

We are working on the application process and will announce further details in a future GCVS Weekly Update bulletin / on the website and through social media when it goes live.
