Youth Mental Health Services Information Session
1st July 2022
The Children’s Services team at GCVS hosted three online briefing sessions on mental health services available to young people in Glasgow.
Based on the acknowledgement around long waiting lists and high demand for statutory services such as CAMHS, the event aimed to inform those working with children and young people of the various, non-statutory services available across the city.
The information session, led by HSCP Health Improvement Lead, Barbara Adzajlic, included a series of presentations delivered by representatives from several mental health and wellbeing services across Glasgow, including an informative overview of CAMHS.
Attendees heard from:
- Young Person’s Compassionate Distress Response Service (CDRS)
- Young Movers (YoMo)
- Togetherall
- LGBT+ Services
- Youth Community Support Agency (YCSA)
- Youth Health Service
- CAMHS
Below you will find some key information provided by each service, as well as a link to a visual recording of their presentation.
