Paid Work Placement Partnerships with GCVS

GCVS is developing a partnership proposal for the delivery of the forthcoming Paid Work Placements contract from Glasgow City Council.
As part of this we are interested in building a partnership with organisations that can support the city by:
- providing support to people who are starting, on, or coming to the end of, a work placement,
- providing support to employers and / or employees on removing barriers to work,
- providing vocational or professional qualifications for people on work placements, and/or
- creating job opportunities for people looking for a work placement
Training providers that can provide qualifications that are currently in high demand from employers are particularly welcome, as are job placements in high demand markets. The aim of this programme is to provide people with the first steps to a sustainable job.
