University of Glasgow project to support organisations with marketing

GCVS is partnering with the University of Glasgow to support 3 third sector organisations with their marketing communications planning. Could you benefit from free marketing support?

Marketing Communications Project:

  • Do you have a service or idea you need to help to promote?
  • Would your organisation benefit from a marketing communications plan?
  • Are you open to hearing new and creative ideas?

Organisations are invited to apply for this opportunity and, if chosen, we will work with you to define your ‘client brief’ for a group of University of Glasgow Marketing Students. From September to December, your assigned students will create and develop an integrated marketing communications plan based on your requirements. They will present their recommendations in the form of a group presentation, for you to take forward as you wish.

Students taking part will be 3rd and 4th year Marketing Communications (MA Management) undergraduates. They will be supported by the course coordinator, tutors and GCVS team throughout to gather regular feedback which will inform their final submission. You will not be expected to host or manage the students yourself. Our aim is to help support voluntary sector organisations to develop and promote their services whilst also providing future marketing graduates with practical experience and an increased awareness of the third sector.

If you are interested in benefitting from this unique partnership please complete the below application form. Or to find out more contact the GCVS team at sectordev@gcvs.org.uk who will be able to provide help and advice. The deadline for applications is 2nd May 2022.
