Workplace Qualifications

Home » Support » Support & Services » Workplace Qualifications

Our learning and development opportunities reflect the needs of teams and individuals across Scotland’s voluntary sector. Work-based qualifications, such as SQAs and PDAs, recognise the skills, experience and practice required to perform a role at the nationally recognised standard. We also provide opportunities that help strengthen and equip the sector’s workforce.

Qualifications and Training to Suit Your Needs

Over the past 20 years, GCVS has established itself as a highly regarded SQA accredited centre providing a range of certified qualifications. On top of that, we are continually listening to the needs of local employers and individuals to offer learning opportunities and support with career development.

Nurturing our sector’s workforce is vital to GCVS. Through our employability work in partnership with other providers, we help connect people with job and training opportunities to equip them with the skills and experience they need to enter and sustain employment successfully.

Organisations that take ownership of staff development see many benefits:

  • A skilled workforce
  • Increased morale and productivity
  • Better job satisfaction
  • A lower staff turnover
  • More attractive to new talent

Multiply Numeracy Course

Funded through the Multiply Grant Scheme – learners can improve their practical numeracy skills with a recognised qualification.
