Human Rights and Equalities
Introducing the THRE team
The voluntary sector has a key role to play in ensuring that we build a better and fairer society. Understanding and embedding human rights principles and equality practices into your organisation will help you to achieve your aims.
GCVS leads a nationwide Third Sector Human Rights and Equalities project (THRE), in partnership with HTSI. The team provide free resources, training and networks to support organisations with their organisational development and delivery. Their free courses aim to help us all put human rights and equalities at the heart of Scotland’s third sector.
Please visit the dedicated THRE website for free access to resources, training and news.

THRE is funded by The Scottish Government Equality and Human Rights Fund, managed by Inspiring Scotland. The team are based in Glasgow and the Highlands to work with their local TSIs and give the project national reach combined with a local understanding of the needs of the third sector across Scotland.
