We can help you put the right systems in place, and we offer training to help Board and Committee members understand their responsibilities. Refresher training is also recommended for even the most experienced board and committee members.

We offer limited free advice and training for eligible third/voluntary sector organisations in Glasgow.
Training
We provide governance training that’s ideal for trustees, board members, and committee members, including charity law, roles and responsibilities, governance, and good practice. Browse our training calendar to find upcoming dates.
1-1 Advice
Book an appointment with our Governance Advisor that lasts up to 45 mins. They will listen to the challenges you face, discuss options, and help signpost resources or next steps. Log in to book online through your benefits page or email us for more details.

Thanks to our funders, governance advice surgeries are free for Glasgow City Organisations signed up to our funded support. Appointments may also be available for organisations outside Glasgow when capacity allows but may come at a charge. Please email us at sectordev@gcvs.org.uk, and we can discuss the help available, including more bespoke, in-depth support.
Training for your Team
