Engaging with your community to improve services?
Designing and delivering excellent services starts with engaging the people you work with – volunteers, staff, service users, and others in your community. Getting that engagement right is essential: it builds trust, connection, and a deeper understanding of your community’s needs, leading to the best possible outcomes.
Anyone working in the Third Sector can take part in design and engagement. We offer training and support to help you make the most of this collaborative way of working and to strengthen your organisation’s impact.

Free Support for Glasgow Organisations
We offer limited free advice and training for eligible third/voluntary sector organisations in Glasgow.
Do you need advice on a new project or help developing and gathering feedback on your plans? We are here to help you get started.
Training
We deliver training throughout the year on various topics for voluntary organisations, including sessions on community engagement and service design. These are often free to eligible groups in Glasgow. Please visit our training page.
1-1 Advice
We can offer tailored advice from experienced engagement and design practitioners, free of charge, to Glasgow-based third-sector organisations. To request a meeting, please complete our enquiry form or email us with your details.

Community of Practice
Our Community of Practice brings together people from across Glasgow’s third sector to share learning, experiences, and ideas about design and engagement.
We also offer group training and other options for your organisation, some of which may come at a charge. Please drop us an email at policy.engagement@gcvs.org.uk to discuss the help available.
