Multiply Numeracy Course
The Multiply programme is now closed to new participants. Please read more about this project below and find other opportunities from our Workforce Development team here or in our Qualifications store.
The Multiply Numeracy Core Skills course allows learners to improve their practical numeracy skills and provides a recognised qualification. This opportunity was provided completely free to eligible participants, as it was fully funded through the Multiply Grant.
Rather than concentrate on complex mathematical ideas and concepts, this course aims to develop tools that are useful in daily life. It can help widen access to the jobs market and support the hardest-to-reach learners. Recognised as SCQF level 5, Numeracy is one of five core skills considered ‘key to learning and working in today’s world.’
Who is it for?
Multiply is ideal for anyone lacking Numeracy as a Core Skill. The only restriction is that applicants should be 16 or over. The course is taken online in one half-day session or in person at our offices or your workplace.
Please note this opportunity is now closed.
Participants receive a digital certificate on completion of the course from GCVS and their SQA profile will be updated to show achievement of the Numeracy core skill SCQF 5.
If you have any questions, please contact us on 0141 332 2444 or by email at multiply@gcvs.org.uk.
