Community Connectors

Improving connections with, and for, people over 60 and their carers

Community Connectors is a free, confidential service connecting older people and their carers to local services, facilities and activities.

Since 2015, GCVS has successfully developed the Community Connectors project, providing older people better access to information and, if they so wish, supporting them in accessing what they need to live healthier and happier lives as independently as possible. The Community Connectors programme is delivered in partnership with the Glasgow & West of Scotland Housing Forum, working alongside local and citywide organisations to strengthen information links between the Third Sector, older people, carers and statutory services.
