Helping your Organisation grow through creating a Business Plan

Course Overview

This session is aimed at Community Groups, Voluntary Organisations and Social Enterprises in Glasgow who want to or need to create a Business Plan to enable their development. Business Plans are not just for the Private or Public Sectors but can be an invaluable help for Third Sector Organisations and this workshop will enable you to tailor one suitable for your organisation.

Through this interactive session the following questions will be explored:

  • What is a Business?
  • Are you a Business?
  • What Business are you in?
  • What is your Product or Service?
  • Who are your Customers or Service Users?
  • What is a Business Plan?
  • How would a Business Plan benefit your organisation?
  • What are the key components of a Business Plan?
  • What are the steps in creating a Business Plan?
  • What are the challenges to creating a Business Plan?

Please note this is an online event. You will be required to register with Zoom before you can join. This is a free and simple process but does take a few minutes. Please do this at your convenience before the day of the event.
