A beginner friendly session for those new to fundraising in the voluntary sector.

Course Overview

Are you part of a small community group or voluntary organisation in Glasgow and looking for ways to bring in more sustainable income? This online session is a great place to start. Together, we’ll explore the fundraising landscape in Scotland, look at different sources of income, and share why good communication matters. We’ll also talk through best practices, with plenty of practical examples, and give you space to ask questions and share ideas.

What You’ll Gain
By joining this session, you will:

  • Understand fundraising more clearly within voluntary organisations
  • Feel inspired and motivated to encourage giving
  • Discover ideas to bring in more flexible, sustainable income
  • Learn where to go for further support and resources

This session will be useful for people with no prior experience of fundraising; or for start-up community groups or voluntary organisations in Glasgow; groups seeking to attract funding up to £5,000; people from New Scots communities; or anyone who would like to refresh their understanding of basic fundraising principles.
