Talking is Mental’s Christmas Day Walk

Spending Christmas Day on your own?  Join Talking is Mental for a Christmas morning walk.

We will be meeting at McLennan Arch for a relaxed walk around Glasgow Green at 10am on 25 December 2025. Our walks are leader by trained Health Walk Leaders , last 30 to 40 minutes, and we tailor each walk to the pace you want to take.

Christmas can be a vulnerable time for many, especially those who are far from family and friends, those experiencing mental and physical health illnesses, those grieving and those who might feel unsafe at home. Everyone is welcome, whatever your age, gender, ability level or background.

If you’re coming alone, you will have someone who will greet you, make you feel safe and welcome, and chat with you along the way.

You don’t have to feel lonely or isolated during this season – at this walk, you are guaranteed to have some company and smiles. There may even be a wee festive surprise at the end!

Talking is Mental is combating social isolation and loneliness by delivering varied activity groups and encouraging conversation around the impact of these issues on mental and physical health.

If you want to find out more or let us know you’ll be attending the walk, get in touch with us using our contact details below.
