Volunteering information sessions for Refugees and Asylum seekers

Information afternoon for asylum seekers and refugees

Are you interested in finding out about volunteering in Glasgow?

Attend our volunteering information session to find out about volunteering opportunities. This information session is open to all asylum seekers and refugees, regardless of whether you’ve recently arrived in the UK or have been here for years, have an on-going asylum application, are awaiting the outcome of a fresh claim or have Refugee Status, Discretionary or Indefinite Leave to Remain.

We will present to you the services of Volunteer Glasgow and explain how you can use their website to search for opportunities.  There will also be time to talk to you all individually to explore your volunteering interests.

Representatives from some charities who are keen to involve asylum seekers and refugees will also be here to speak to attendees about their volunteering opportunities.
