Volunteer Trustee Board Members

Maryhill Burgh Halls Trust is at an exciting stage of its development as we respond to societal and funding challenges. Our Board of Trustees guides our future and we are looking to make new appointments that will strengthen and complement the skills and experience of our Trustee Board and help us deliver our strategic plan. Trustees should be passionate about saving and enlivening historic buildings in the spirit of heritage preservation and community empowerment.
We would particularly welcome applications in one or more of the following areas:
• Chair.
• Treasurer.
• Fundraising background.
• Financial/audit background.
• Marketing and social media background.
• Experience of employability and working with all ages through volunteering or work placements.
• Operations Management particularly in health and safety.
• Heritage or museum management.
• Well connected and with knowledge of national and local policies and strategies that affect Maryhill Burgh Halls Trust’s work.

We encourage applications from all sections of the local community particularly those interested in chair or treasurer positions.

Please note that this post is non-remunerated. These posts are voluntary, although reasonable expenses, related to your duties as a Trustee, will be paid.
Board meetings are held once a quarter at Maryhill Burgh Halls and attendance at subgroup and additional meetings may be required.
