Lead Practitioner Attainment (Temporary Post: 13/08/18 to12/08/19)

Hours: 35hrs per week (full time) or 2×17.5hrs (half time)
Full time Salary: £23,827 Location: Glasgow (Possilpark and Easterhouse)
Pension Contribution: 6.55
Holiday Entitlement: 38 days

The Lead Practitioner Attainment will work within the childcare team to provide additional support to children within the childcare centre/s to help close the attainment gap by developing high quality relationships and interactions with children that promote wellbeing and extend thinking and concept development.

The successful candidate will be qualified with a BA Childhood Practice (or in final year of study for the qualification), or Graduate PDA Childhood Practice at SCQF Level 9, or Graduate B.Ed. and hold an HNC Childhood Practice at SCQF Level 7 or SVQ Level 3 Social Services Children and Young People at SCQF Level 7 (or equivalent that meets SSSC requirements for registration at Practitioner level) and be able to provide evidence of relevant experience of practice within an early learning and childcare setting. This post is funded by Glasgow City Council.
