Are you experienced in Website Design and Development, Digital Marketing including pay per click and SEO, Graphic Design, Analytics, Content Writing and App Development? If so, this is the role for you.

Most housebound people with a disability or long term health condition have been using I.T. as a communication tool, sometimes for decades. They are using computers daily as a tool for communicating and researching; yet don’t see this as a skill that they can develop a career from. With help from partner organisations, our managing director, our award winning enthusiastic team and committed board of directors, the post holder will focus on clear outcomes supporting DNDP’s aims and objectives of enabling more of the disabled community into employment.  Together we will enable these individuals to look at their technology skills as a route to employment.

Main responsibilities of the role include:

  • Engage & develop freelance people with disabilities that are housebound
  • Developing strong partnerships with our clients and our team
  • Supporting the disabled community in personal creative project development, activity, and interaction and to support their project progression
  • Providing coaching and guidance to team members (to ensure they understand their tasks fully and can act on them efficiently)
  • Providing opportunities for individuals to grow in confidence and feel valued
  • Lead, engage and motivate a cross-discipline team to success
  • Managing the full project life cycle, including project planning, estimating and cost management, reporting on risk and quality management
  • Enable the delivery of project programmes aimed at skill measurement, training and development, personal confidence building and creative project completion.
  • Developing processes and techniques that improve efficiency in project delivery
  • Promoting DNDP’s ethos of “Socially Driven Services for Socially Driven People” including interaction with the public.
  • Attending weekly executive team meetings & monthly board meeting.

This is an extremely important role in the development of DNDP’s strategy. We have an opportunity to change the face of perception. The public think that people with disabilities that are housebound or have complex disabilities are unemployable. WE are going to change that preconception! This is an opportunity to feel fantastic EVERY day of your working life. Knowing that you are making a difference to someone’s life is an extraordinary feeling. WHY NOT TRY IT?
