We are expanding existing services and also into new areas to help create better life chances and options for young people. Includem will support young people and their families/carers to offer an alternative through focused work to keep the young person in their community and to deal with the underlying risk factors leading to positive, sustainable outcomes without the need for unnecessary accommodation, including ensuring they maximise education attainment.

We are looking to recruit in the following areas: Dundee, Glasgow, Stirling and North Lanarkshire. The posts include:.

Project Workers (£23,953 rising to £25,240 with further opportunity to earn up to £26,528)

A role which requires you to case manage up to 12 young people through effective support planning and risk assessment. You will be effective and proficient in collaborating with all partners and have experience in crisis management to support the helpline activity on a rota basis making professional decision and judgements as necessary.

Assistant Project Workers (£19,574 rising to £20,707 with further opportunity to earn up to £21,737)

A role which requires you to build relationships with young people and families and be part of a package of professional support, challenging attitudes and behaviours through structured interventions

Both Project Workers and Assistant Project Workers must have, or be willing to work towards qualifications essential to carry out their roles and meet registration requirements. Professional report writing and the ability to use technology to record all activity is essential to ensure effective evidenced based outcomes using our ‘ A Better Life’ toolkit.

All posts require individuals to:-

  • Work flexibly to meet the demands of the service, involving regular weekend and evening work;
  • Develop safe, professional and committed relationships with young people and families
  • Use their communication skills effectively to influence positive change and provide personalised, risk enabled, professional support.

The roles will initially mainly cover North Lanarkshire, Stirling, Glasgow and Dundee and it is essential, therefore, that you can drive, have access to your own vehicle for work purposes and are covered for business insurance purposes.
