Please provide any additional suggestions you have for improving transport and accessibility to services in Glasgow.
- When roads are updated then the pavements should be upgraded and without the wee stones sticking up as these are an impediment using a walker or wheelchair or pram and should be smoother, so the wheels don’t get stuck in the wee stones and holes. It takes twice as long to walk anywhere because the 3 wheeled aid, wheelchair or pram gets caught among the wee stones
- Better cycle lanes and spaces for locking up bikes. Joined up public transport, i.e. tickets which cover train, bus and underground. More facilities in certain areas of the city, e.g. Castle milk, Possilpark, Milton.
- Stop privatisation of buses. They cost too much and offer very little
- Speak to communities before trying to run new services or altering existing services
- Main problem is with unreliability of bus services many of which do not turn up within a reasonable time according to timetable. Far too many go through Union St and get delayed by traffic
