Glasgow Children’s Holiday Scheme – Administration Officer (part-time)

Glasgow Children’s Holiday Scheme (GCHS) is a Scottish Charitable Incorporated Organisations (SCIO) which provides holidays to children and families in greater Glasgow who are disadvantaged due to poverty, deprivation, ill-health, disability or other adverse circumstances.

GCHS has been going for over 60 years and has helped thousands of children and families get a holiday or break they otherwise would not get. In any one year we organise holidays for around 500 children and young people from the greater Glasgow area. We do this only through grant funding and donations. GCHS employs 2 part-time staff and is managed through a volunteer Board of Trustees.

Role:
We are looking for an Administration Officer as the current employee is due to retire. The job description and personal specification are included in this pack. This is a part-time role of 15 hours per week. The role will require certain core days and hours but there will also be a degree of flexibility in working the required hours. Membership of the PVG Scheme is essential for this post. This will be undertaken by the charity for the successful applicant.
