Free Sighted Guide Training Places 19th March!

VOX Scotland has arranged community sighted guide training from Susan Harrison who is a sighted guide training officer at Guide Dogs. This will be taking place on Thursday 19th March from 10am to 12:30/1pm (arrival from 9:45am) in person at the Maldron Hotel, 50 Renfrew Street, Glasgow city centre in the MacNicol Suite.
We have 5 free spaces remaining to offer to staff at GCVS organisations who think this training would be of benefit and are available to attend. The places will be allocated on a first come first served basis until they are filled but you need to register before Monday 2nd March then VOX Scotland staff will be in touch to confirm your place.
While much of the training is more theoretical and discussion-based, there are also some practical elements to the training. If you want to know more please visit the guide dogs website and look at community sighted guide training or contact us for more details.
