Early Years Scotland is recruiting Family Engagement Practitioners (FEPs) to deliver the HENRY programme across communities in Greater Glasgow and Clyde, funded by the NHS.

About the Role 

Family Engagement Practitioners with Early Years Scotland play a vital role in supporting parents/carers and children together. You will deliver the evidence-based HENRY group programme, using structured session materials with confidence and fidelity.

Working alongside a colleague, you will create welcoming, supportive group environments that help families build:

• positive attachments and relationships
• early communication and shared learning
• healthy routines and wellbeing practices
• nurturing home learning environments

A typical week may include:

• delivering a health-based programme to parents/carers
• engaging with families across community venues, nurseries, and schools

You will be fully supported with professional learning, reflective supervision, and opportunities to shape and evaluate the programmes you deliver.

What We Offer

• Salary: £24,937 FTE (Point 24 on scale 24–26)
• Hours: 35 hours per week, 9.00am–4.30pm
• Contract: Initial contract term until 30th June 2028, subject to continued funding

Qualifications & Experience 

Applicants must hold qualifications suitable for SSSC Practitioner registration, such as:

• HNC Childhood Practice (SCQF Level 7)
• SVQ Social Services (Children and Young People) (SCQF Level 7)

Additional equivalent qualifications are welcomed.

Experience working with children aged 0–12 and their families is essential. Confidence in group facilitation and delivering structured programme content is highly desirable.
