Experiments in Regenerative Evaluation, a 5-week public event series
Posted: 20th September 2026
I have been involved in meeting others interested in this approach to evaluation so wanted to share these opportunities below. I am also thinking about creating a network here in Scotland for those interested in this approach to get together and share ideas and challenges using a community of practice model……….. I say thinking about it! Still not 100% sure what I plan to do when COPE closes but I am sure I will find ways to work with others so people and the planet suffer less, and I know finding ways to evaluate what we do to show we make a difference matters.

Experiments in Regenerative Evaluation
Since launching the Living Paper, a central question keeps surfacing within and beyond our community dialogues: How do we actually apply the principles of Regenerative Evaluation when touching the messy reality of daily practice?
To explore this out loud together, we are launching Experiments in Regenerative Evaluation, a 5-week public event series running from late October through November. These gatherings bring practitioners together around active, live projects to look at what it takes to navigate power, community ownership, and future foresight on the ground.
You can read more about the background story and ethos behind the series in this blog article. And now to the most important part: the actual events
