Energy Action Scotland Annual Conference and Exhibition 2017 – Resolving Fuel Poverty

This year unites us all on the brink of great change. The fuel poverty landscape is under renewed scrutiny at the same time Scotland receives new social security powers. November 2017 is a unique moment when great change is possible, change that could see an end to fuel poverty as we recognise an opportunity to change the health and outcomes for all people in Scotland.

Energy Action Scotland’s conference sets the annual agenda for fuel poverty action in Scotland. This year topics will include Scotland’s Energy Efficiency Programme (SEEP) which stems from the decision to make energy efficiency an infrastructure priority in Scotland, how best to support vulnerable and low income households struggling to afford energy bills, and the role of new technologies such as smart meters.

The conference will take place in the Crieff Hydro Hotel, Crieff on Thursday 9 and Friday 10 November 2017 and is supported by Scottish and Southern Electricity Networks and SP Energy Networks.
