Compassionate Communication – Glasgow & Dundee

Amina MWRC is running a one day course in Glasgow and Dundee on ‘compassionate communication’ open to everyone.

About the course

This course aims to instill the principles of communicating compassionately in a work environment.  Often due to reasons such as misunderstandings, pressures and stressors at work, people communicate in ways which are not constructive and empowering.  This course will help to unpack this and enable participants to explore compassionate communication in a safe environment.

About the facilitator

This course will be delivered by Amel Yacef, who is the present chair of European Network Against Racism (ENAR) and is on the board of other organizations working on migrant health, rights and women’s issues.  She has extensive experience in contributing and facilitating processes to enable voices of marginalized groups to be heard and impact political discourse.  She is a feminist and anti-racist who believes in transformative justice and its values.
