Glasgow City Health & Social Care Partnership Survey – Maximising Independence

“Maximising Independence” is a Health and Social Care Partnership led programme of change.  Its stated vision is that Glasgow should be a City where everyone can achieve their full potential with a focus on health, wellbeing and independence.

The programme starts from the premise that everyone in the city should have an active role and responsibility in making decisions and that people should lead the lives they want, as far as they possibly can.  It aims to learn from different examples of good practice, ensuring individuals, carers, families, communities and organisations are able to come together to share opportunities and decision making.

Work is at an early stage and Snook has been contracted by Glasgow City HSCP to gauge staff, local organisations, housing associations, third and voluntary sector and public responses to the Glasgow City Maximising Independence vision.  This research will look at messaging, language and vision for the Maximising Independence programme.

The HSCP is seeking views from as wide a group of people and organisations as possible and this is being done initially through a survey.
