The University’s Adam Smith Business School is looking for social enterprises and charities in Glasgow and surrounding areas to work with students on projects related to marketing, HR, strategy, or growth. Please find more details below, including relevant dates and contact details.
What’s involved?
Social Enterprises and Charitable Organisations in and around Glasgow are invited to work with students studying Entrepreneurial Ventures, Management and Growth (MA Management).
- Project Focus: Any including business modelling, marketing, management, strategy, HR etc.
The aim of this course is to give students a practical insight into the nature and workings of small organisations. - Duration: 6 weeks. This is a long-form consultancy project.
- Dates: October – mid November (dates TBC)
- The Brief: Students are divided into teams and work on a challenge set by the client over the course of six weeks to come up with a response to the brief and make recommendations to the client. The teams work closely with the client, engaging regularly for the first four weeks. Each client has one team working on their brief.
- Eligible Organisations: Social enterprises and third-sector organisations (no start-ups), (max. turnover £5m p/a, max employees 49)
- Course lead: Dr Nick Quinn
- Students: 3rd and 4th year undergraduates
