A Fond Farewell to Albany and the Announcement of Our New Address!

After many years of calling the Albany Centre our home in Glasgow’s Woodlands neighbourhood, GCVS is embarking on an exciting new chapter. We have now relocated to 348 Argyle Street, situated in the heart of Glasgow’s city centre.

The Albany has been more than just an office – it’s been a hub for the voluntary sector and a welcoming venue for countless events, meetings, and networking opportunities. For so many, particularly the GCVS team, it has been a space filled with memories, shared successes, and collective efforts to strengthen Glasgow’s third sector.

However, as our organisation has evolved, so too have our needs and those of our members. While the Albany has served us well, it no longer fully supports how we work today.

A Promising Move for Our Team and Community

Our move to 348 Argyle Street marks a significant step forward, providing a fresh, modern, and accessible space to better serve our community. The ground floor of our new office features training and meeting facilities, allowing us to welcome visitors in Glasgow’s lively business district. You can find us next to Tesco, or through the side door at 11 West Campbell Street. On the upper level, GCVS staff and tenants have a dedicated area for meetings and collaborative work, with open-plan workspaces, meeting rooms, and private pods.

The new offices, though smaller, enable us to host some in-person training and support just a short distance from Glasgow Central Station. For larger events, we are already taking advantage of the excellent community spaces offered by our members and networks.

New Address and New Chapter

As we settle into our new home, we remain committed to providing the same level of support as usual. We officially took entry into the new office in January 2026. We hope there will be very little, if any, disruption to our services, but please call 0141 332 2444 with any issues.

Our new address is 348 Argyle Street, Glasgow G2 8LX, and we would be grateful for everyone’s help to update systems and records. All other contact details remain the same.
