Glasgow Communities Fund Update

Glasgow City Council have provided an update on progress towards Phase 2 of the Glasgow Communities Fund.

The Council have thanked the sector for continued engagement with the team while they seek to improve their processes.

They were delighted to speak with over 300 representatives during the recent engagement and listening sessions delivered with GCVS. The sector’s feedback, comments and experiences will be central to the development of the next phase of the Glasgow Communities Fund.

Work on developing the Fund will continue over the next couple of months and will include sector informed testing of an online application process that should be more user friendly.

They expect a paper on the proposed approach to Phase 2 of the Glasgow Communities Fund from 1 April 2023 will go to a Council committee meeting in August which will outline a timetable for the application, assessment, decision making and award processes that will see awards made to successful applicants in January 2023.
