Be part of Glasgow Helps with New Funding
20th December 2022
The Community Support Proposal
Glasgow City Council is developing Glasgow Helps and is working with GCVS to invite third sector organisations to be part of the service. Glasgow Helps works with citizens to agree upon a plan of support to address their immediate and long term needs.
Funding of up to £25,000 will be made available for April – June 2023 to provide a range of practical support such as picking up food and prescriptions, pet assistance and check-ins. Organisations will be expected to provide active support to the citizens it is assisting by identifying other community and voluntary supports which people might need, such as links to social clubs or other local services.

How to Apply
Please apply by completing the below proforma and email your application to Nicole.Dowie@glasgow.gov.uk no later than Sunday 29th January, 2023 at 5pm. A breakdown of your projected costs should be provided in a separate Word document or PDF.
