Join the GCVS Board

In addition to Elected Board Members, we are looking for an Appointed Board Member whose skill set and experience can add value to the GCVS Board.
By our Memorandum and Articles of Association, we may appoint up to four additional Board members to accompany the eight elected by our membership. This allows us to add fresh expertise and perspective. In the past, appointed roles have been filled by people with expertise outside the sector, and by people from independent funders and the public sector. Their interest in the success of the third sector in the city is key.
Board Member positions are for three years and it is our intention to appoint one such person this year, alongside the addition of elected board members. We are particularly keen to identify potential applicants who have expertise and experience in:
Using digital and technology within the delivery of services or achieving social outcomes, and
Using design approaches in the development of services
