The Adult Support & Protection Committee is hosting a conference on Wednesday 2nd November 2022 at Hampden Park. The programme will include presentations on

- Adult Neglect and Self-neglect – Professor Suzy Bray, University of Sussex
- Developing an Inequalities Framework for Adult Safeguarding – Dr Lorna Montgomery, Senior Lecturer in Social Work and Dr Lisa Bunting, Reader, School of Social Sciences, Education and Social Work, Queen’s University Belfast
- Developing an Assessment Toolkit for Adult Neglect and Self-neglect
- Findings from Inspection of Adult Support & Protection Services in Glasgow – Mike Harkin, Service Manager, Care Inspectorate
- Advocacy Services in Glasgow – The Advocacy Project
- People First
The committee also hopes to live-stream the event for anyone unable to attend in person.
